WEBApr 23, 2011 · Drill out the rivet on each side of your drawer (single rail). You can reuse this hole with the new rails but it's too big for a 1/8" rivet. Probably 6mm or something. A 3/16" might work. Being hard-headed and having 1/8" steel rivets on hand I just used it for an alignment hole and drilled out back two.

WEBApr 10, 2016 · The US General toolbox is made the same place Michigan Industrial Tools (MIT), Chicago Electric Tools, Pittsburgh Tools And Milwaukee Tools are made, Asia, isn't it clear from their names. Don't know for sure if that's really accurate but I'd definitely say probably China. FWIW I just saw this one @ Home Depot for $650.

WEBOct 7, 2014 · I have a 44" US General bottom box. I love it. For the price I can't beat it. I also have the black 4 drawer cart. A bit different than the red one already posted. I will be buying another 44" box around summer time. The US G box is better quality than any box from craftsman in that price range.

In Canada they are sold by Costco and have a custom design not listed on the Homak website, basically all medium and large drawers on the bottom box and small and medium full width drawers on the top.

I noticed the black U.S. General compressors at HF have apparently been replaced by nearly identical "Central Pneumatic" models, I didn't get a chance to look them over but there were two of the U.S. General units still on the floor along with a bunch of smaller Central Pneumatics.
