Fun afternoon exploring the caves. Definitely a challenge for the not so young! My teens would have enjoyed this. Wear good hiking shoes for sure.Full review by michelee930

We enjoyed our time at the Polar Caves. Feeding the deer and ducks was a nice addition. The caves are fun but you can get this same experience only better and more exciting and beautiful at Lost Rive…Full review by Victoria A
Do you have a weight or circumference limit on each cave? Will I be able to know which I am too big for?

There are no measurements regarding the size of entrances or what might be beyond. .Names of Caves provide some clues " Fat Mans Misery". My husband was not able to get in most caves. There are mo nice paths once you get inside-, you climb over boulders-I mean boulders The only thing that saved me was my vast experience in tree climbing as a child. Would not recommend this for those over 50 I'm 61- I'd never do that again. There are no staff inside incase of a fall. I took one path that lead me to the other side of the hill. My husband was calling for me-I never heard him. If you fall inside and are alone-, good luck. Children should not be allowed in alone. There are too many places that look inviting but lead nowhere and it gets very dark in those areas. There is a difference between caves and caverns. Those nice big rooms with flat floors, well lit, with guides telling you all about things- this is not that place.
Is there room to get through the caves with a baby in a back pack carrier? Would you recommend doing this with a baby and 4 year old?
A:
We do not allow backpack carriers past the cave platform. They will not fit on the tour. We allow front pouch carriers for infants only. Strollers are also not allowed.
