Amazon Prime Video has given a series order to the drama series “Silent River” with John Krasinski and Matthew Rhys attached to star, Variety has learned. Both Krasinski and Rhys will also executive produce the series,

John Krasinski is headed back to Amazon’s Prime Video, albeit in a very different role than that of Jack Ryan.

John Krasinski and Matthew Rhys are set to executive produce and star in "Silent River," a new psychological thriller ordered by Amazon MGM Studios for Prime Video. According to the official logline,

John Krasinski is staying in business with Amazon. In addition to the recently announced Jack Ryan movie, Krasinski is set to star opposite Matthew Rhys (The Americans) in Silent River, a new drama series ordered at Prime Video.

Prime Video has ordered Silent River, a thriller drama series starring and executive produced by John Krasinski (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) and Matthew Rhys (The Americans). The project comes from Krasinski and Allyson Seeger's Sunday Night whose first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios has been extended.
