The King and Queen paid a sweet tribute to Beth, who died earlier this month, in their Christmas decorations at their country home, Highgrove

King Charles has disclosed his plans to get a new canine companion following the passing of Queen Camilla's cherished Jack Russell, Beth.

Queen Camilla is mourning the death of her rescue dog, Beth, who died over the weekend from an incurable tumor. Palace aides have described Camilla as “very sad indeed” following the loss of her beloved pet, who had to be put down due to the tumor. Queen Camilla adopted the Jack Russell terrier in 2011 when Beth was just three months old.

Though no one can replace Beth, the King and Queen plan to get a new dog to add to their family, he said at the Royal Variety Performance on Nov. 22

King Charles and Queen Camilla are remembering their late dog this holiday season. The Christmas tree at Highgrove Gardens features a tribute to Their Majesties' rescue dog Beth, who passed away this month.
