The NFL (NFLPA) released the fourth episode of its AthleteAnd YouTube series on Thursday, spotlighting Houston Texans tight end Cade Stover. The episode highlights Stover’s love for farming, which led him to purchase his own cattle ranch near his hometown.
The Houston Texans are trying to balance their roster amid a slew of injuries at multiple positions. However, just one day before they take on the Tennessee Titans in Week 11, the Texans have made roster moves with tight ends Cade Stover and Jakob Johnson.
Stover, now in his second season with the Texans, bought a 330-acre farm in Mansfield, Ohio, before the 2025 season. He took fans inside his sprawling farm in a video released Thursday with the NFL Players Association; it marked the fulfillment of a dream.
When Stover does fill back into the Texans’ offense, though, it brings another nice reinforcement to a Houston unit that's had its ups and downs in the first half of the season, and can allow for Nick Caley to run a bit more 12 personnel with two solid tight ends on the field.
The Houston Texans shuffled their roster once again, this time adding veteran playmaker K’Von Wallace before facing the Tennessee Titans.
