F1 team Alpine confirmed Monday that Esteban Ocon has been released ahead of the final Grand Prix of the season and that Jack Doohan will make his debut in Abu Dhabi.

Although he was only meant to start racing for Alpine-Renault next season, the Enstone-based side have confirmed that Australian Jack Doohan will replace Esteban Ocon with immediate effect. This means he will race alongside Pierre Gasly in the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
