Texas Rangers center fielder Evan Carter has been put on the 10-day injured list with what likely will be a season-ending right wrist fracture.

Carter suffered the injury when he was hit by an errant pitch from Kansas City Royals left-hander Daniel Lynch IV during the seventh inning of Texas' loss on Thursday.

Rangers outfielder Evan Carter, whose promising career has been stunted by chronic back issues, may miss the remainder of the 2025 season for a different injury, manager Bruce Bochy said on 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM) Friday.
