It was a big night for the Gator backcourt, as Xaivian Lee and Boogie Fland were Florida's top scorers in the 20-point win at Georgia.

Playing in the second matchup of the season the Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs were certain to have a physical, chippy affair and that was the case as both teams scratched and clawed for forty minutes with the Gators coming away on top with a 86-66 win.

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — The Florida Gators are starting to look a lot like that team from a year ago. You know, the group that won it all. The No. 14 Gators seem to be peeking at just the right time, posting another dominating victory as they led from start to finish in an 86-66 beatdown of Georgia on Wednesday night.

During last Saturday’s 86-67 win at conference co-leader Texas A&M, the Gators held the Aggies to a season-low in points — 25 below their scoring average. Florida forced 18 turnovers leading to 25 points to trounce Alabama 100-77 on Feb. 1 in the O’Connell Center.
