It’s been two weeks since Hawaii woman Hannah Kobayashi went missing after she did not board a connecting flight to New York City during a layover at Los Angeles International Airport on 8.

A 31-year-old woman from Hawaii has been reported missing in Los Angeles since Nov. 11. After two weeks of searching, her father was found dead Sunday morning.

Hannah Kobayashi's aunt told USA TODAY that the past two weeks were already horribly difficult before learning about Ryan Kobayashi's suicide.
