On Sunday, Florida State hosted the Indiana Hoosiers in its fifth game of the 2025–26 women’s college basketball season. Before tipoff, the Seminoles retired Howard’s No. 33 jersey, welcoming the Fever forward and her family for the ceremony.
The Hoosiers were dominant defensively in the first half, and one of their stars was limited due to foul trouble. Here's what we learned from the win.
IU football's defensive end was replaced by Daniel Ndukwe in the first quarter against the Badgers. What we know.
FSU was missing its top scorer, Sole Williams, as he recovered from an injury she sustained in the last game against Nicholls State. She was surely missed as the Seminoles had a struggle shooting performance, only making 25 of their 63 shots and two of their 14 three-point attempts.
A high-scoring Indiana basketball team was anything but as its shot went cold against Incarnate Word. The defense in the first half helped it build a 19-point lead, even with 12:47 left in the game, but Incarnate Word cut the lead down to five twice in the final two minutes. Still, the Hoosiers secured a 69-61 win down the stretch.

Gideon Ituka injury update: Wisconsin football running back taken to hospital after hit vs Indiana
Wisconsin football running back Gideon Ituka suffered a frightening injury in the third quarter of the Badgers' game against undefeated Indiana on Saturday, Nov. 15, that put a lengthy pause on the Big Ten contest and sent him to the hospital. Fortunately, Ituka was released and flew back with the team, he confirmed on his social media accounts.
The Good: For much of the first half, Wisconsin was able to control the ball and look like a functional Big Ten offense against an outstanding Indiana defense with a true freshman quarterback making his first start and a fourth-string running back toting the rock.
