Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu visited Coimbatore's Isha Foundation to celebrate the beginning of Navaratri. This visit comes hours after Telangana minister Konda Surekha's distasteful remarks about her divorce.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has come in support of Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation amid the recent reports of police action. The actress has reportedly spent significant amount of time at the place and also shared a photo from the foundation in Coimbatore. The actress called it a home away from home.

Transferring to itself a habeas corpus petition of a man alleging that his two daughters were held captive by the foundation, a Bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud directed the Tamil Nadu Police to not take any further action in pursuance of the Madras High Court's direction asking it to inquire into the matter.

The Supreme Court on Thursday stayed a Madras High Court order permitting police action against spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev's Isha Foundation in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and transferred the case to itself.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu's support for Isha Yoga Foundation has come amid the police investigation against the organization.
