Dug McDaniel scored 15 points and David N’Guessan added 14 as Kansas State snapped a six-game skid with a 73-60 win over No. 23 West Virginia.

West Virginia fought back in the second half behind 22 points from Javon Small, but it wasn’t enough. K-State essentially clinched the game when Hawkins sent a terrific pass to N’Guessan for a dunk that gave the Wildcats a 62-42 lead with 5:41 remaining.

Kansas State had all the reason to feel down after enduring a six-game losing streak that lasted nearly a month. Things got better after Saturday's 73-60 victory against the West Virginia Mountaineers at Bramlage Coliseum.

On Wednesday, the Wildcats found out what it’s like to force a boatload of turnovers and get fast-break buckets. K-State forced Oklahoma State into 21 turnovers and then parlayed those takeaways into 28 points on the other end.

West Virginia looks to get back in the win column on Saturday night as they meet up with the Kansas State Wildcats. While K-State has dropped six straight, Darian DeVries is not taking this matchup lightly.
