LIV Golf was denied ranking points in 2023 due in part to a lack of variance in its 54-player fields; it is unknown if the league proposed changes in a new bid.

LIV Golf is making a fresh bid to crack the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) after striking out two years ago, setting up another potential showdown over the Saudi Arabia-backed circuit's place in professional golf's pecking order.

The OWGR denied the first application in October 2023, but both it and LIV have taken on new leadership since.
