Donald Trump's 'big, beautiful bill' is poised to pass the House and later reach the president's desk for him to sign.

In a meeting with moderate Republicans, Trump highlighted three programs not to be cut if the GOP wanted to win elections between 2026 and 2028: Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security, according to NOTUS. Trump said the three areas should be “touched.”

Reps. Jen Kiggans and Rob Wittman have both expressed concern over how much further the Senate version of the reconciliation bill goes in cutting Medicaid than the House version they both backed.
