Paddy Pimblett has no sympathy for Arman Tsarukyan's current standing with Dana White and the UFC. Tsarukyan was the odd man out in the upcoming interim lightweight title fight, which was created after champion Ilia Topuria announced he needed to take some personal time off.

Ilia Topuria vs Pimblett has changed from a personal feud to a professional rivalry. The UFC lightweight champion famously came to blows with Paddy Pimblett in a hotel three years ago. Since then, Ilia Topuria and ‘The Baddy’ have continued their beef in press conferences, on social media, and through interviews.

Justin Gaethje is set to compete for UFC’s interim Lightweight title against Paddy Pimblett at UFC 324 on Jan. 24, 2026. It’s a title fight that has a lot of controversy attached to it because it doesn’t include the true No.

Pimblett (23-3 MMA, 7-0 UFC) takes on Gaethje (26-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) for the interim lightweight title in the Jan. 24 main event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (Paramount+). "The Baddy" is coming off a TKO of Michael Chandler, who, like Gaethje, is also a powerful striker that willingly goes to war. Pimblett plans on handing Gaethje the same fate.

Nate Diaz has his sights set on an opponent should he return to the UFC. Diaz, who fought out his UFC contract with a submission win over Tony Ferguson in the main event of UFC 279 in September 2022, has competed in the boxing ring a couple of times since his long tenure with the promotion concluded.

In the main event, Gaethje — arguably Pimblett's toughest opponent — rebounded from a knockout loss to Max Holloway by out-pointing Rafael Fiziev. Gaethje has an extraordinary haul of 20 knockouts from 26 wins in 31 fights to date, against just five losses.
