Looking for a spark to get the team back on track, Stanford is bringing back school legend Andrew Luck to work as general manager of the football program.

Per Pete Thamel, former Colts QB Andrew Luck has been hired by his alma mater Stanford University as the football team’s general manager. He has been the subject of discussion over the past several years after abruptly announcing his retirement in August 2019.

Luck also shared with ESPN that the idea for his new role came up "organically" after talking with Stanford president Jonathan Levin, and that Luck said he's ready to "lock arms" with Stanford head coach Troy Taylor in order to help the program reclaim a national status.
