Scott Boras is starting to let out some morsels of information in the Juan Soto sweepstakes. The mega agent told reporters at the GM Meetings in San Antonio his client and the sport’s top free agent is prioritizing playing for teams with owners committed to “winning,” as noted by Newsday.

There are echoes of Bryce Harper’s free agency in the Soto sweepstakes, right down to the young age at which they reached the market. Soto wants an owner committed to winning, the agent says.
