AUSTIN- With his second 10-win season in a row, Steve Sarkisian is now on the short list of Texas Longhorns head coaches who have done the same. Only two others have achieved the impressive feat, with Darrell K.

Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian certainly isn't underestimating Texas A&M's roster. During a media availability on Monday, Sarkisian gave his praise to the Aggies defensive front and labeled it the strength of the team.

Texas A&M appears to have added new speakers to the sidelines at Kyle Field ahead of this weekend's Lone Star Showdown. According to Nicole Griffith, a reporter with KBTX, the CBS Affiliate of Bryan,

"I don't have a personal relationship with him."Sarkisian also had praise for his rival."Coach Elko is a good coach," Sarkisian said. "He's been around the block, he's been in College Football Playoffs,

Sarkisian may feel a bit of dissatisfaction from Texas fans at the moment, many of whom approach the end of 2024 with some unease about the performance of starting quarterback Quinn Ewers and the offense writ large (Texas won 20-10 at 5-5 Arkansas on Saturday). Sarkisian is still well within his rights to offer a jab at his program's detractors.
