Three flood warnings remain in place across Yorkshire after Storm Bert brought snow and heavy rainfall to the region. Flood sirens sounded in parts of Calderdale on Saturday, with river levels around Todmorden exceeding 2.4m (7.9ft) - 34cm (1ft) short of levels during the Boxing Day floods of 2015.

Storm Bert wreaked havoc across Britain over the weekend, with disruption expected to persist into this week as the clean-up continues.

More than 150 flood warnings and more than 200 flood alerts have been issued by the Environment Agency in England, with a further 22 flood warnings and 36 flood alerts in place in Wales

A severe "danger to life" flood warning remains for the River Nene in Northamptonshire after a caravan park was submerged for the third time this year.

While the worst of the weather may be over, more than 200 flood warnings remain in place as communities across the UK recover from Storm Bert.

More flooding is “likely” this week after Storm Bert brought torrential rain over the weekend, the Environment Secretary said. Steve Reed said its impacts “should be less severe” than they were on Sunday and Monday morning.

Storm Bert is battering Devon and Cornwall with flood warnings in place, fallen trees across the region and many properties without power. The Environment Agency has issued 13 flood warnings and 33 flood alerts for Devon,
