Utah Mammoth star Logan Cooley is out indefinitely with a lower-body injury, the team announced Monday. Cooley crashed into the post during a game against the Vancouver Canucks on Friday. The forward’s left leg appeared to bend in the wrong direction in the process.

Now, with the game tied, it was on Utah to make a response of its own. The Mammoth had already done it once this game when Nick Schmaltz singlehandedly stole the puck and scored a breakaway goal to tie the game 1-1 in the second period.
