While the snow on Saturday, Nov. 29, made the roads in Rochester a little slippery and had people and plows alike shoveling it away, many folks still made the most of the winter weather.

It may be hard to believe with the warmer temperatures seen on Wednesday, but winter is coming, and the ABC 13 weather team is ready. An ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day has been issued for Friday night through Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend due to the potential for the first accumulating snowfall of the season. This snow will not impact Black Friday.

The shovels were definitely out in Cresco, Iowa on Sunday, following a holiday weekend full of snow. Residents saying snow was needed, but it could've come at a better time.
