Last season, the former Crystal Palace owner called Howe a “gatekeeper” at St James' Park. Jordan argued that Howe would simply lay the groundwork at Newcastle for another manager to win silverware. The Magpies could dispel that claim on Sunday by beating Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.
