Microsoft is dropping support for one of its oldest programs.Users will not be able to access content created in the program after Oct. 1, 2026.Users should migrate their files to other platforms now.
From 14 Oct 2025, Microsoft ends free support for Windows 10, used by 40% of users worldwide. Without updates, devices risk malware and cyberattacks. Users can upgrade to Windows 11, pay for extended protection,
Microsoft is clear: “After Oct. 14, 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates from Windows Update, technical assistance or security fixes for Windows 10. Your PC will still work, but we recommend moving to Windows 11,” it says online.
Windows 11 offers a major upgrade with a refreshed, modern interface designed for ease of use and making multitasking even easier.
Everyone is buzzing about the end of Windows 10 support next week, but one Windows 11 edition will also soon be out of support, and Microsoft wants you to know about it.
