OnePlus is beginning to roll out OxygenOS 15, which is based on Android 15, to OnePlus Open users. The update is now rolling out in batches in India, and will come to North America, Europe, and global markets next week. After first updating the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Pad 2 to OxygenOS 15, the company continues a run of speedy Android 15 updates.

OnePlus has announced that the OxygenOS 15 rollout for its Open foldable smartphone has begun. As part of the update, the company is upgrading Open's Android version to Android 15, which packs several new features and privacy-centric improvements.

OxygenOS 15 also splits the notification panel and quick settings panel into two. OnePlus has also introduced an iPhone-like Live Alerts feature, which works similarly to Apple's Dynamic Island, keeping notifications updated in real time. Additionally, the new OnePlus Share app enables seamless file sharing with iOS devices.

The OnePlus Open is now receiving Android 15 with OxygenOS 15 on top of it. The update is rolling out in stages, globally.

OxygenOS 15 is also available for the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12r models in India. The Android 15-based software update is expected to arrive for the Pad 2 tablet in November: Technology news
