A train to Britain's Gatwick Airport was canceled when a pair of mischievous squirrels boarded without tickets and proceeded to cause chaos for paying passengers.

The disruption on Saturday forced the 08:54 (0754 GMT) service from Reading in southern England to be terminated before it could reach Gatwick Airport,

Despite efforts to evict them, one squirrel remained and was eventually sent back to Reading, ending the unusual situation. The Woodland Trust, a conservation charity, notes that

Passengers said that the squirrels began attacking passengers, forcing them to move cars. Conductors were able to get one squirrel off, but the other refused.
