Flanked by the heads of every public safety department in San Francisco, Mayor Daniel Lurie on Thursday made it clear to residents that the city is prepared for an extremely busy weekend.

Capping off two weeks of lunar new year celebrations is the popular Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco’s historic Chinatown.

Mayor Daniel Lurie - flanked by the heads of every public safety department in San Francisco - says the city is ready for the tens of thousands of people expected to attend the NBA All-Star Weekend events and the Chinese New Year Parade.
