The Stranger Things documentary is giving insight into the filming of the fifth and final season of the Netflix series. In One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5, the Duffer Brothers admitted to not having a final script ready even as they started filming the series finale.

Some fans argue that finale was intentionally misleading, pointing to what they see as narrative inconsistencies.

One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 is a two-hour documentary that will hit Netflix on Jan. 12. Directed by Martina Radwan (a 2024 Emmy winner for Girls State ), the doc gives viewers an inside look at the filmmaking process of the last eight episodes of Matt and Ross Duffer 's generation-defining series.
