After student reported seeing a classmate with a gun to school resource officer, Braintree High placed under shelter in place order.

The senior struck for a first-half hat trick, and Braintree went on to eliminate the Trojans, 5-0, to advance to the Div. 1 Round of 16.

One person was killed early Friday morning in a serious crash involving a large truck and at least one other vehicle in Brockton, Massachusetts.
