New San Francisco 49ers running back Brian Robinson Jr. is excited to form a backfield duo with Christian McCaffrey.

Figuring that out now isn't very important as Robinson tries to get up to speed quickly with the San Francisco 49ers following a trade late last week. “It was like the first day of school,” Robinson said after his first practice with the 49ers on Monday.

The 26-year-old was traded from the Washington Commanders to San Francisco on Friday, with the deal being made official on Monday, and after his first practice with his new team, spoke to reporters about his hectic weekend uprooting from the organization where he spent the previous three seasons.
