Arsenal have offered an update on Bukayo Saka's injury ahead of a trip to Premier League champions Liverpool on August 31.

Most significantly, captain Martin Ødegaard and superstar winger Bukayo Saka were forced off with injuries. The latter‘s setback arrived after he’d scored the Gunners’ second, which put the game beyond an overwhelmed Leeds side that struggled to lay a glove on the title hopefuls.

Saka, 23, had already scored in helping Arsenal to a 3-0 lead in the game, and his body language was that of disappointment as trainers treated an apparently left leg injury early in the second half.
