The Israeli military carried out multiple barrages of airstrikes in southern Lebanon Wednesday on what it said were Hezbollah weapons storage facilities after a drone strike earlier in the day killed one person and wounded several others,

"We are committed to the agreement, but it must be held," an IDF spokesperson told Newsweek amid operations against Hamas and Hezbollah.

The United Nations Security Council voted to approve a U.S.-drafted Gaza resolution on Monday, propping up President Donald Trump's 20-point Gaza peace plan that would authorize an international force to stabilize the Gulf region, run by a "Board of Peace" headed up by Trump.
