At this year’s 16th Governors Awards, Black women proved once again that style and grace go hand-in-hand for us.

Despite the heavy rains and winds sweeping through Los Angeles, the red carpet has officially opened at the Governors Awards. Among the first arrivals were Ariana Grande, Jeremy Strong and Elle Fanning.

It makes sense that Jennifer Lopez — in that dangerously low neckline — was the star Sunday night, as the Governors Awards were held in support of Kiss of the Spider Woman. The event is presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to honor outstanding contributions to film.

The Academy's annual Governors Awards were attended by the likes of Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Lucy Liu, Jeremy Strong and many others.

While promoting Wicked, the first release in the two-part adaptation of the musical, Bailey quickly cemented his status as Hollywood's best-dressed, with an assist from stylist Emma Jade Morrison, who clad the actor in everything from custom Ralph Lauren to custom Dolce & Gabbana to those viral Giuliva Heritage trouser shorts.
