Former two-time PFL season champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist Harrison (18-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) was dominant again with a unanimous decision victory over Vieira (14-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) in the women’s bantamweight bout at Delta Center in Salt Lake City.

Kayla Harrison won unanimously over Ketlen Vieira to open the UFC 307 pay-per-view portion. The victory featured a challenging moment in the second round for Harrison, but the win positions the former Professional Fighters League champion for a shot at the UFC women's bantamweight title.

Harrison made big news in January by signing a free-agent contract with UFC. Three months later, she mauled and submitted former champion Holly Holm in Round 2 of their UFC 300 bout to announce her presence in a huge way.
