Sky Germany report that Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy, travelled to Munich on Friday in an attempt to convince Tel about a move to Spurs. However, the report claims that Tel has turned down Tottenham and will now assess alternative options before the transfer window closes on on February 3.

Tel’s signing would have bolstered a depleted attack that is without the injured Dominic Solanke, Timo Werner, Wilson Odobert and Brennan Johnson, but Ange Postecoglou’s side will be forced to look elsewhere or make do with the young forwards who excelled against Elfsborg in midweek.
