Following a nail-biting win at Wrigley Field this weekend, ESPN’s FPI has predicted exactly how the rest of Michigan Football’s 2025 regular season plays out:

Michigan (8-2, 6-1) beat Northwestern at Chicago’s Wrigley Field on Saturday 24-22 with a field goal as time expired. Michigan and Maryland did not meet last year; Michigan has won eight straight in the series, last losing in 2014. After visiting Maryland, the Wolverines will return home for the regular-season finale against Ohio State.

Entering this season, Michigan Wolverines Edge Derrick Moore was a guy who basically had not lived up to the recruiting hype.

No. 18 Michigan had a hiatus from the College Football Playoff last season, but the Wolverines have made three of the last four -- including a 2023 national championship. Heading into the home stretch of the season, the program still has an outside shot to reach the postseason again.
