Cincinnati Reds catcher Jose Trevino didn't strike anyone out during his pitching appearance in the final two innings of the Reds' 12-2 loss to the Miami Marlins. Trevino did, however, manage to throw the slowest pitch of this MLB season: 31.1 miles per hour in the top of the 9th inning to the Marlins' Agustin Ramirez, according to Baseball Savant.
He will presumably undergo tests to determine the nature/severity of his injury, at which point the Marlins may relay an update on his status.
