A deacon who is being recognized for his quick action to help stop the gunman at a church in Wayne, Michigan, last month received a special gift.

"For what he did, we should all be grateful because it could’ve been a heck of a lot worse," the owner of a dealership said after gifting the deacon a new truck.

Richard Pryor, a deacon at Crosspointe Community Church in Wayne, was instrumental in stopping a potential mass shooting when he used his truck to hit a gunman approaching the church, allowing security to intervene and neutralize the threat.
