Gov. Wes Moore argued Maryland must not let President Donald Trump take power by withholding federal funds for a new Francis Scott Key Bridge.

President Donald Trump has considered sending National Guard troops to five major cities across the U.S., including Baltimore.

Moore shot back on X by calling Trump “President Bone Spurs” who “will do anything to get out of walking” and offered him a golf cart. He said Maryland is making progress on public safety and that using the National Guard for “municipal policing purposes is not sustainable, scalable, constitutional, or respectful.”
