The 2026 schedule for the Florida Gators football program was revealed on Thursday night, with the first 9-game SEC slate included.

Following a soft opening with visits from Florida Atlantic on Sept. 5 and Campbell University on Sept. 12, Florida heads to Auburn on Sept. 19 to face former USF coach Alex Golesh and the Tigers as the first game of the new nine-game SEC schedule. The trip will be the Gators’ first to iconic Jordan-Hare Stadium since a 17-6 loss in 2011.

Florida football will open SEC play on the road for the second straight season, facing Auburn for the first time since 2019 and the first time on the Plains since 2011. It pits a battle of first-year coaches, as Sumrall will face Auburn’s Alex Golesh, who led USF to an 18-16 upset over the Gators at The Swamp on Sept. 6, 2025.
