Snoop Dogg, meanwhile, is getting dragged for agreeing to appear at a pre-inauguration event. According to The Root, the West Coast rapper will perform at the inaugural Crypto Ball hosted by Trump’s nominated “AI and Crypto Czar” David Sacks.

Nelly also spoke about his experience as a child on a military base in Texas, praising his family members who have served in the U.S. armed forces. “If these people can give [their] life for the office, Nelly can perform,” he said. “It is an honor for me to perform for the president of the United States, regardless of who is in office.”
Nelly is scheduled to perform in the Liberty Inaugural Ball which is aimed towards Trump's supporters. Country singer Jason Aldean and disco band The Village People are scheduled to perform at the ball, where Trump is set to give remarks.

Nelly, 49, whose birth name is Cornell Haynes II, is a St. Louis native with hits such as “Hot in Herre” and “Just A Dream.” The 49-year-old has had four No. 1 hits and won nine Billboard Music Awards. He escaped drug charges in November following an arrest at a Missouri casino in August.
