Star weekend with history being made, a slam dunk masterclass, and a controversial disqualification all taking place in San Francisco. Osceola Magic guard Mac McClung made All-Star history by becoming the first person to win the Slam Dunk contest three years in a row.

NBA Slam Dunk Contest history was made Saturday night in San Francisco. Mac McClung, who had four perfect 50s on four attempts, won the Dunk Contest for the third consecutive year, becoming the first player in history to pull off a three-peat in the event.

McClung captured the crowd with each dunk, and won the competition for the third straight year. That he’s not a star shouldn’t be a factor.
