The Washington Commanders have re-signed kicker Zane Gonzalez, who took over the job after a series of injuries and roster moves and helped the team reach the NFC championship game, gaining some national attention along the way for playing with obsessive-compulsive disorder.

The Washington Commanders already agreed to trade for receiver Deebo Samuel and retained Bobby Wagner, Zach Ertz, Zane Gonzalez and John Bates.

Zane Gonzalez joined the Commanders midway through last season and was the kicker for Washington during its playoff run.
