The Met Office has issued its latest weather forecast for next week, and the aftermath of Storm Claudia could bring with it a snowy few days. The UK was recently battered by Storm Claudia, which caused disruption on road and rail, along with significant flooding across the country.

The storm could result in travel disruptions, power cuts, and flooding in some areas, with Portugal and Spain also under weather warnings.

The Met Office forecast reads: "Temperatures across the UK will peak in the mid-teens Celsius, which is above average for the time of year but not as mild as the last few days. Expect values to be a couple of degrees cooler, reflecting the change in wind direction and the passage of weather fronts."
