Israel is facing fierce condemnation after a pair of strikes on a Gaza hospital killed five journalists as well as medical workers and others on Monday. At least 20 people were killed in the attack,

The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza has this morning reported at least 20 deaths following an Israeli strike on the Nasser hospital in Khan Younis. The ministry says that medics, patients and journalists are among those who have died, and says that treatment of patients in the hospital has been impacted.

Witnesses say Israel has struck southern Gaza’s main hospital with a missile and then fired another as journalists and rescue workers rushed to the scene, killing at least 20 people.
