New Manchester United recruit Matheus Cunha was keen to make a good impression on manager Ruben Amorim on the first day of pre-season training. Cunha, who was signed from Wolves for £62.5million, was reportedly the earliest arrival at United's training complex, turning up before 8am in a chauffeur-driven car.

Manchester United have taken the No.10 shirt off Marcus Rashford and given it to new signing Matheus Cunha, sources have told ESPN.

New forward Matheus Cunha will wear the number 10 shirt at Old Trafford next season, having completed a £62.5m move from Wolves last month. Marcus Rashford had worn United's 10 shirt since 2018 after inheriting it from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
