Samsung sold 23% of all refrigerators in the last year, more than any competitor, according to market research firm TraQline, compared to its 70% share of faulty refrigerator complaints.

In June 2023, Samsung offered its two-year Care+ extended warranty for a refrigerator for only $39.99 instead of the regular price of $169.99. The three-year plan for the same item was $229.99.
