ECU’s men’s basketball team traveled to New Orleans to take on the Tulane Green Wave Wednesday night, Feb. 19, 2025. The Pirates were on a three-game win streak headed into the matchup but Tulane had too much firepower in its home gym in an 86-81 victory.

One of the biggest obstacles that the Tulane Green Wave men’s basketball team was going to have to overcome during the 2024-25 season was their lack of experience. This was the youngest group that head coach Ron Hunter has ever worked with in his career.
