The NFL (NFLPA) released the fourth episode of its AthleteAnd YouTube series on Thursday, spotlighting Houston Texans tight end Cade Stover. The episode highlights Stover’s love for farming, which led him to purchase his own cattle ranch near his hometown.
"Texans tight end Cade Stover is being activated for a Sunday road game against the Tennessee Titans after being designated for return this week, per league sources. Stover has made a full recovery after breaking his foot in the season opener against the Los Angeles Rams and undergoing surgery," Wilson wrote.
Stover, now in his second season with the Texans, bought a 330-acre farm in Mansfield, Ohio, before the 2025 season. He took fans inside his sprawling farm in a video released Thursday with the NFL Players Association; it marked the fulfillment of a dream.
The Houston Texans shuffled their roster once again, this time adding veteran playmaker K’Von Wallace before facing the Tennessee Titans.
When Stover does fill back into the Texans’ offense, though, it brings another nice reinforcement to a Houston unit that's had its ups and downs in the first half of the season, and can allow for Nick Caley to run a bit more 12 personnel with two solid tight ends on the field.
