The Senate passed President Donald Trump’s signature tax-and-spending legislation on a party-line vote that marks the largest overhaul to the tax code since 2017.

The Senate crossed all of the lower chamber’s red lines in its revisions to the megabill. Trump plans to make House members pass it anyway.

Congressional Republicans are hoping to send their sweeping tax and spending cuts package, otherwise known as the “big, beautiful bill,” to President Donald Trump’s desk by July 4. The House and Senate have each narrowly passed their own versions of the bill.
