The National Weather Service (NWS) on Saturday confirmed at least 3 EF-2 Tornadoes touched down in southern Indiana.
Multiple deadly tornadoes tore through the Midwest on Friday, killing at least 16 people. The month of March traditionally marks the beginning of tornado season in the United States.
The NWS didn’t rule out the possibility of severe storms developing Saturday morning, but the line of storms will be closer to Mississippi and southeast Louisiana.
Strong thunderstorms bring the potential for tornadoes are expected across portions of Florida this weekend and into Monday.
Severe storms, which potentially could include menacing tornadoes, are barreling toward Georgia today as much of the state braces for a heavy punch from Mother Nature by nightfall.
